BATESVILLE — Spencer and Austin Reaves are bringing their popular youth basketball camp to Batesville this summer, giving local students a unique opportunity to sharpen their skills under the guidance of two Arkansas-grown basketball standouts.
The Reaves Brothers Basketball Camp is scheduled to take place June 16–17 at Becknell Gymnasium on the Lyon College campus. The two-day event is open to boys and girls entering grades 3 through 9, and registration will open on May 1 via the official camp website at beacons.ai/reavesbasketball.
According to the Reaves Brothers Basketball Camps Instagram page, the current dates could be adjusted due to the Los Angeles Lakers’ ongoing postseason. Should the team’s playoff run extend into late June, the camp may be rescheduled for a window between June 23 and July 1.
Camp Details
The camp will be divided by age group:
- Grades 3–5 will attend from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Grades 6–9 will attend from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $200 per camper, and space is expected to fill quickly once registration opens.
Both Spencer and Austin Reaves have deep roots in Arkansas basketball. Austin, a standout guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, has become a fan favorite in the NBA for his clutch play and sharp shooting. Spencer, also a former collegiate player, joins Austin in hosting the camp to help inspire and teach the next generation of players.
“We’re really excited to come back to Batesville,” the brothers shared via their social media. “This camp is about giving back and helping young athletes grow, both on and off the court.”
Parents and guardians are encouraged to register early and follow @reavesbasketball on Instagram for real-time updates on scheduling and availability.
