The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 31-year-old Locust Grove man on 14 counts related to possession of child pornography.
According to a statement released on Dec. 12, detectives with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, working as part of the Arkansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, received a cyber tip on Nov. 25 about child pornography being stored and accessed on a suspect’s phone.
Following several days of investigation, authorities identified the suspect as Broch Wade Romkee of Locust Grove. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Romkee’s residence and took him into custody during the search.
