Arkansas REALTORS Association Offers $300,000 in Tornado Relief Grants

CAVE CITY, Ark. – In response to the devastating tornadoes that recently struck Cave City, Cushman, Diaz, Newport, and Paragould, the Arkansas REALTORS Association (ARA) has announced a relief grant program to support affected residents. Up to $300,000 in total aid will be distributed, with eligible applicants able to receive up to $1,000 in housing-related assistance.

The relief grants, provided in partnership with the REALTORS Relief Foundation, are intended to help residents cover housing-related expenses, such as lease payments incurred due to storm damage.

Relief Command Centers Open March 28

To assist residents in applying for aid, the ARA has established command centers that will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 28 at the following locations:

  • Cave City/Cushman: Mossy Oak Properties, 8111 N St Louis St., Cave City
  • Diaz/Newport: Bratcher Real Estate, 731 Malcolm Ave., Newport
  • Paragould: Weichert, REALTORS, 105 Reynolds Road, Paragould

Board members of Hearts & Homes of Arkansas, Inc., an ARA-affiliated charity, along with REALTOR volunteers, will be present at these locations to offer computer access and application assistance.

How to Apply

Applications for relief funds can be completed at the command centers or accessed online at arkansasrealtors.com. Residents can also submit applications via email. Approved applicants will receive checks in the coming weeks to aid in their recovery efforts.

The Arkansas REALTORS Association encourages all affected individuals to take advantage of this program and get the support they need as they rebuild.
