About the 100 Families Initiative

The 100 Families Initiative, already implemented in 19 counties across Arkansas and now expanding to Michigan and Canada, uses a collective impact model to provide wraparound support for families in need. Recognizing that no single organization can meet all the challenges faced by families in crisis, the initiative facilitates a collaborative approach among service providers, addressing needs such as:

  • Employment
  • Healthcare
  • Housing
  • Financial stability
  • Education
  • Transportation and childcare

The cornerstone of the initiative is HopeHub, a collaborative case management system developed by the nonprofit Restore Hope. This software identifies participant needs, tracks their progress, and records outcomes, ensuring a data-driven, evidence-based approach to service delivery.

What Leaders Are Saying

“HopeHub allows us to streamline services for families in crisis,” said Paul Chapman, Executive Director of Restore Hope. “With the average participant requiring support from nine different service providers, this initiative ensures a coordinated effort to deliver help where it’s needed most.”

Restore Hope Associate Director of Community Development Karen Phillips added, “The 100 Families Initiative empowers service providers to work together, offering families streamlined, efficient support that creates real change.”

The Results So Far

In 2024 alone, the initiative served 3,314 families in Arkansas, with 706 participants successfully moving from crisis to career.

This launch event marks the beginning of a transformative effort in Independence County to uplift families and strengthen the community. Residents, service providers, and local organizations are encouraged to attend and learn more about this initiative that promises to make a lasting impact in the region.
