BATESVILLE, Ark. — White River Fan Con, Arkansas’s premier all-ages, multi-fandom convention, is scheduled to return to the Batesville Community Center Feb. 20-22, bringing together fans of comics, movies, TV, books, gaming and more.
The event, organized by a volunteer committee, will feature a variety of activities including comic and literature meet-and-greets with creators and authors, e-sports tournaments, tabletop and retro gaming, cosplay contests with professional instruction, movie and TV screenings and discussions, vendor marketplaces for collectibles and merchandise, and educational panels and workshops.
The convention spans three days:
- Friday, Feb. 20: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (VIP only)
- Saturday, Feb. 21: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 22: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It will be held at the Batesville Community Center, 1420 20th Street, Batesville. All proceeds benefit the Independence County Library.
