Independence County Clerk Tracey Mitchell administers the oath of office to Chaney Taylor, who will become District Judge for the new State District 14, which will include Independence, Izard and Fulton Counties, on January 1, 2025.
Taylor currently serves as Independence County District Judge and will begin presiding as State District Judge in the new 3-county district on January 7, 2025 in Horseshoe Bend.
