BATESVILLE, Ark. – Carmen Duncan, who has served as Deputy Circuit Clerk for Independence County for the past seven years, announced her candidacy for the Circuit Clerk position on Thursday.

In her announcement, Duncan emphasized her commitment to integrity, accountability, and transparency in continuing to serve the community. She highlighted the office’s critical role in maintaining accurate court records and pledged to enhance efficiency, public communication, and overall accessibility.
