Pine Bluff Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on South Sycamore

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Authorities in Pine Bluff are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, Dec. 21.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire near 200 South Sycamore. Upon arrival, they discovered a white vehicle riddled with bullet holes. Inside, they found 44-year-old Shawn Lancaster, unresponsive in the driver’s seat.

Paramedics assessed Lancaster’s injuries, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.

As of now, no information about potential suspects has been released.
