Fulton County Multi-Vehicle Crash Claims One Life, Injures Another

FULTON COUNTY, Ark. – A tragic multi-vehicle crash on Thursday, Dec. 19, resulted in one fatality and left another person injured in Fulton County.

According to the Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred at 3:31 p.m. on U.S. Highway 62 near Mimosa Estates Circle in Agnos.

Authorities reported that a 2016 Toyota Sequoia SUV, driven by 36-year-old Jamilia D. West of Ash Flat, was traveling eastbound when it collided with the rear of a 1991 Chevrolet S10 truck driven by 61-year-old David L. Hobbs, also of Ash Flat.

The impact caused Hobbs’ vehicle to be propelled into the opposite lane of traffic, where it was struck by a 2023 GMC Sierra truck.

David Hobbs was pronounced dead at the scene. Jamilia West sustained injuries and was transported to White River Health in Cherokee Village for treatment.

The Arkansas State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
