SOUTHSIDE, Ark. – A man died Wednesday morning when his motorcycle crashed into a van that turned in front of him.
Arkansas State Police reported the crash happened at 11:24 a.m. June 19 near the intersection of U.S. Highway 167 and State Highway 14.
According to the preliminary fatal crash report, 35-year-old Jacob Lee Moody of Southside was southbound on a 2023 Harley Davidson when a northbound 2005 Chrysler van turned left into the path of Moody’s motorcycle, causing it to hit the right side of the van.
Moody died at the scene.
The report did not identify the driver of the van.
