Russellville Man Sentenced to 96 Years After Pleading Guilty to Child Sexual Abuse and Bestiality Charges

RUSSELLVILLE — A 25-year-old Russellville man was sentenced to 96 years in prison Monday after pleading guilty in Pope County Circuit Court to dozens of felony charges involving child sexual abuse material, sexual extortion and bestiality.

Brandon C. Kilpatrick entered the plea agreement April 13 before Judge James Dunham. He pleaded guilty to 50 counts, including sexual extortion, one count of bestiality and multiple counts of electronic facilitation of child sexual abuse, according to court records and reports from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and The Courier.

The charges stemmed from incidents between May and September 2024. Kilpatrick was originally charged in October 2025 with more than 100 counts, including possession of child pornography and three counts of bestiality involving a pit bull.

Under the plea deal, he received 18 years for sexual extortion, one year for bestiality and consecutive terms on the child sexual abuse charges, totaling 96 years. He was ordered to have no contact with anyone under age 21, no contact with named victims, no access to internet-capable electronic devices and no contact with any animals or pets. He will remain in custody until a custodial plan including GPS monitoring and home detention is approved by the court.

A victim who spoke in court described Kilpatrick as a “monster on the inside,” according to published accounts. Kilpatrick, who appeared via video from jail, showed no visible reaction during the hearing.

The investigation began after an instant-messaging app reported child sexual abuse material linked to Kilpatrick. Authorities said he possessed and shared numerous such images and videos.

Kilpatrick remains in the custody of the Arkansas Department of Correction. No further details on parole eligibility or additional conditions were immediately released.
