North Heights Church of Christ to host Polar Express event Sunday and Monday

The North Heights Church of Christ will host its annual Polar Express event on Sunday, Dec. 15, and Monday, Dec. 16, offering a festive evening of holiday activities for the community.

The free event, open to all ages, runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night and features cookies, treats, games, crafts, and hot chocolate. Attendees can also enjoy a train ride and take pictures with Santa Claus.

Organizers say the Polar Express event typically draws over 1,000 visitors over the two nights.

The church is located at 200 Warrior Road, above the Independence County Fairgrounds in Batesville.
