Inmate Escape Alert: Inmate Wayne Schutz, 25, Missing From Benton Work Release Assignment

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas State Police is issuing this Inmate Escape Alert at the request of the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

On Tuesday, November 18, inmate Wayne Schutz, #180381, was found missing from his work release assignment from Prospect Steel at the Port of Little Rock earlier this afternoon.

Schutz is suspected to have possibly fled in a 2015 White Dodge pickup, license plate number 1DYXN. He is currently being housed at the Benton Work Release Unit and is serving an eight-year sentence for breaking and entering out of Faulkner County.

Anyone with information about inmate Schutz’s whereabouts should contact local law enforcement immediately.

The Division of Correction and the Division of Community Correction are working with local, state and federal law enforcement to follow leads.
