First Community Bank Donates $500,000 for White River Health Oncology Center Expansion

BATESVILLE, Ark. — The White River Health Foundation announced a lead donation of $500,000 from First Community Bank to support the expansion of White River Health’s Oncology and Infusion Center.

This significant contribution will aid in improving access to oncology services for patients in the region. The expanded facility will provide enhanced care and treatment options, allowing patients to receive comprehensive cancer care closer to home.

White River Health expressed gratitude for the donation, noting its lasting impact on the community’s healthcare infrastructure.

The announcement was attended by representatives from both organizations, including Boris Dover, president and COO of First Community Bank; Dr. Chris Steel, interim president and CEO of White River Health; Dale Cole, chairman and CEO of First Community Bank; Michele VanWinkle, executive director of White River Health Foundation, marketing, and volunteer services; and Nicole Floyd, donor relations manager.
