Tuckerman, Arkansas, August 16, 2025 – The annual Finish Sydney’s Run 5K will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. at 200 West Main Street in Tuckerman, just 15 miles from Batesville, to celebrate the life of Sydney Claire Sutherland and raise funds for her namesake foundation. The event, hosted in Jackson County, draws participants from across Independence County, including Batesville, to honor Sutherland’s legacy.
The 5K run/walk, open to all ages and abilities, welcomes runners, walkers, joggers, and stroller-pushers. Registration is $35, including a T-shirt guaranteed for those signed up by September 6, with race-day registration available (T-shirt availability not guaranteed). All proceeds support the Sydney Claire Sutherland Foundation, which funds nursing scholarships in memory of Sutherland, a passionate runner and fitness enthusiast who dedicated her life to helping others.
