Batesville, Arkansas, August 16, 2025 – The Three Rivers District of the Arkansas State Firefighters Association (ASFFA) will host its annual Training Day on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB), 2005 White Drive. The event offers a full day of hands-on firefighter training, fellowship, and a provided meal, strengthening the skills and camaraderie of firefighters in Independence County and beyond.
Led by Dixie Firemanship, the training is open to Three Rivers District members, with non-members in the district able to purchase a membership on-site. The session is limited to 40 participants, requiring pre-registration by emailing bstaylor1976@gmail.com to specify whether attending for training or fellowship. Non-training members are welcome to join for networking and to learn about the ASFFA, ensuring no training spots are taken.
“This event is about building skills and brotherhood among our firefighters,” said an ASFFA organizer. The day includes practical training sessions and a meal, fostering community among first responders. The event is expected to draw firefighters from Batesville and surrounding areas, highlighting the region’s commitment to public safety.
