Batesville, Arkansas, August 16, 2025 – The White River H2GoRun, a 2-mile fun run and walk, will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. at 1420 20th Street in Batesville, bringing together runners, walkers, and community members to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Arkansas. This annual event supports education, support services, and financial assistance for Arkansas caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Participants will enjoy a scenic 2-mile route through Batesville, with every runner and walker receiving a participant bag and commemorative T-shirt. To guarantee specific T-shirt sizes, registration is recommended by August 15, though race-day registration is available. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for ages 1–17, with registration open until 8:00 a.m. on race day. Awards will be given to the top three overall female and male runners and walkers, plus age group awards.
Funds raised will directly benefit Alzheimer’s Arkansas, which provides critical resources to caregivers across the state, including in Independence County, where the disease impacts many families. “This event is a fun way for our community to come together and support a vital cause,” said a race organizer. The run is expected to draw participants from Batesville and surrounding areas, boosting local engagement.
