BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Batesville School District has announced the appointment of Hayden Childers as the new strength and conditioning coach for Batesville Athletics.
A 2019 graduate of Batesville High School, Childers returns to support the program he once represented as a multi-sport athlete. He earned all-conference honors in both football and baseball during his time as a student-athlete in the district.
After high school, Childers attended Ouachita Baptist University, where he played college baseball, served as a two-year team captain, and graduated in 2023 with a degree in Kinesiology and Education.
His academic background, athletic experience, and familiarity with the community played a key role in his hiring. As strength and conditioning coach, Childers will focus on athlete performance, injury prevention, and long-term development across all sports programs.
District leadership views the hire as an investment in the continued growth and competitiveness of Batesville’s athletic programs. Childers officially begins his new role ahead of the upcoming school year.
