The Independence County Library hosts its family-friendly Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon CDT. Taking place at 267 E Main St., Batesville, the event features “Candy, Costumes & Carnival Magic at Your Library.” Two people have indicated attendance so far.
Nightmare on Main Street Parade
Mark your calendars for the Nightmare on Main Street Parade on Saturday, October 25, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. along Main Street in downtown Batesville. Organized by the Nightmare on Main Street Parade group, this Halloween celebration invites participants to join the festivities, with registration details to be announced soon.
BJHSC 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat
Batesville Junior High Charter presents its 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring friends, don their best costumes, and enjoy candy galore, food, fun, and photo opportunities at the school in Batesville.
