MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Baxter County Sheriff’s Office investigators announced Friday a second arrest stemming from a major drug raid earlier this week, seizing approximately 10.8 pounds of methamphetamine and related distribution materials from a residence on Highway 62 East.
The operation unfolded Wednesday, Oct. 29, when deputies executed a search warrant at 5555 Hwy 62 East. During the raid, authorities arrested the home’s resident, later identified as Hannah Bray’s husband, on trafficking charges after discovering the large cache of the controlled substance along with packaging paraphernalia. The initial bust disrupted what investigators described as an active distribution network.
On Oct. 31, 24-year-old Hannah Bray of Mountain Home was taken into custody at the same address. According to the sheriff’s press release, detectives determined Bray had “full knowledge” of the methamphetamine’s presence and prior sales from the batch. She faces felony charges of trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is being held at the Baxter County Detention Center in lieu of $150,000 bond. Bray is scheduled to appear in circuit court on Nov. 3.
Bray’s husband, arrested on the scene, remains in custody on similar trafficking charges, with the couple’s home serving as the focal point of the probe. Deputies emphasized the seizure’s scale—equivalent to thousands of street-level doses—highlighting the ongoing opioid crisis in North Central Arkansas.
The case remains under active investigation, with the sheriff’s office urging tips from the public. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 870-424-4636. Authorities noted that the collaborative effort involved narcotics detectives and patrol units, underscoring their commitment to curbing drug trafficking in Baxter County.
