BATESVILLE — Lyon College will present its seventh annual Bad Boy Mowers Scots Spectacular on Saturday, April 18, beginning at 6 p.m. inside Becknell Gymnasium on the campus at 2300 Highland Road.
This year’s Denim and Diamonds theme invites guests to dress in Western-inspired attire for an evening of live music, gourmet food stations and fundraising efforts dedicated to supporting Scots student-athletes.
The event stands as Lyon’s premier annual fundraiser, drawing alumni, donors and local supporters. Bad Boy Mowers is the title sponsor, joined by presenting sponsors Bank of Cave City and First Community Bank, with Tooth Be Told sponsoring entertainment.
Highlights include a combined silent and online auction featuring sports collectibles, exclusive experiences, travel packages, jewelry and artisan-crafted pieces. Six themed food stations will serve appetizers, main dishes and desserts prepared by local participants: Colton’s Steak House & Grill, Cowboys BBQ, Fresh Ideas of Lyon College, Grazing Grace, Nature’s Market and Polk and Paddle.
Musical performances are slated from Nashville-based country-rock artist KC Johns — recognized for her dynamic stage presence and tracks like “Rodeo Queen” — and local act Drasco.
Funds raised will go toward upgrading athletic facilities and strengthening programs for student-athletes.
Tickets and table sponsorships can be reserved online at lyon.edu/scotsspectacular26. For additional information, reach out to Cindy Barber, executive director of alumni engagement, at 870-307-7527 or cindy.barber@lyon.edu.
