BATESVILLE, Arkansas — Lyon College will host its Elite Cross Country Camp on Friday and Saturday, July 17-18, offering middle and high school runners an opportunity to develop their skills ahead of the upcoming cross country season.
The camp is open to students entering grades 6-12 and will feature instruction from Lyon College coaches, alumni, former coaches and student-athletes. Participants will receive training designed to improve endurance, speed, racing strategy and overall performance while learning techniques they can apply throughout the season.
The first session will be held Friday, July 17, from 5 to 9 p.m. The second session is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, from 8 a.m. to noon. Each session will feature different instructional content, and participants are encouraged to attend both.
The cost is $25 per session, which includes a camp T-shirt. Participants who register for both sessions in the same transaction will receive a discounted rate of $45.
The camp will be held on the Lyon College campus in Batesville.
