7 Brew Coffee Celebrates Times Square Milestone with Strong Arkansas Roots

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — 7 Brew Drive-Thru Coffee celebrated a “made it” moment last week when it posted to Facebook a video of its larger-than-life ad in Times Square highlighting the brand’s recognition as No. 1 drive-thru coffee by USA Today.

The Fayetteville-based chain, which began in 2017 with a single stand in Rogers offering seven original coffees, now operates more than 500 locations across 35 states. The social media post, captioned “Mom, we made it! From our first stand in Rogers, AR to Times Square, NYC This moment is all thanks to YOU! Maybe one day soon we will have 7 Brew in the Big Apple…,” reflected the brand’s rapid rise and gratitude to its home community.

New Arkansas Locations Serve Growing Communities

7 Brew continues to expand in Arkansas, where it currently has 19 locations as of September 2025. Recent openings in Northwest Arkansas highlight its commitment to local growth.

The newest stand opened on Oct. 15, 2025, at 7 West Main St. in Farmington, with a ribbon-cutting hosted by the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. The drive-thru donated $2,000 to Arkansas Children’s Hospital during the event and sold 893 drinks on its first full day of operation, Oct. 19. Manager Caleb Burns, a six-year company veteran, expects the location to average 1,000 drinks per day.

Earlier in the year, on April 17, 2025, 7 Brew opened its first walk-thru coffee shop inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2004 S. Pleasant St. in Springdale. The 510-square-foot space near the grocery entrance serves the full menu — including coffees, energy drinks, smoothies, teas, and shakes — starting at 6 a.m. daily. Located near Southwest Junior High, Springdale High School, and Northwest Medical Center, the stand provides convenient access for students, staff, and residents. President Chris Dawson said the Walmart partnership helps reach more customers in high-traffic retail settings.

Community Giving: “Caffeine for a Cause”

7 Brew supports local charities through its “Caffeine for a Cause” program, tying new openings to community impact.

The Farmington location donated $2,000 to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. In a nearby effort, the Republic, Missouri, stand at 1234 U.S. 60 — just across the Arkansas border — held a ribbon-cutting on Oct. 16, 2025, after raising funds during its opening weekend (Oct. 10-12) through a “pay what you want” promotion on a limited menu. The drive generated $12,435 for Convoy of Hope, the humanitarian nonprofit based in Republic. Manager Kylah Schmitz, a Springfield native, selected the charity to support disaster response. Convoy of Hope Vice President of Public Engagement Ethan Forhetz attended and called 7 Brew a “good neighbor.” A follow-up report noted the total reached nearly $14,000.

National Growth Fueled by Major Partnerships

7 Brew’s Arkansas expansions are part of a broader surge, with the chain more than doubling from about 190 locations in early 2024 to over 500 today.

Blackstone made a growth equity investment in August 2024 to support franchise development. In June 2025, Orangewood Partners increased its stake in franchisee Motley 7 Brew (M7B), formed in 2022, to fund acquisitions and 125 new units in Ohio, Georgia, and Texas. M7B President Rick Nader credited the investment for advancing growth.

In September 2025, Franchise Equity Partners acquired a major franchisee and plans to open over 200 more locations.

In October 2025, the Flynn Group — the world’s largest restaurant franchisee — agreed to develop 160 new 7 Brew stands nationwide. On Nov. 6, 2025, WJ Partners announced a 100-store deal for North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, including the acquisition of two existing Greenville, S.C., locations opened in 2022. CEO John Davidson said the partnership will strengthen Southeastern expansion.
