First Community Bank Earns Spot on 2025 Best Places to Work in Arkansas List

Batesville, AR (July 17, 2025) – First Community Bank has once again been honored as one of Arkansas’s Best Places to Work. The prestigious designation, now in its thirteenth year, is presented by Arkansas Business in partnership with Workforce Research Group. The program identifies and celebrates companies that are setting the standard for workplace excellence in the Natural State.

This year’s honorees include 50 organizations across a range of industries, all of which met rigorous criteria and stood out based on employer and employee surveys. First Community Bank is proud to be recognized on the list for a fourth consecutive year.

“Our people are the heart of our organization, and this recognition is a reflection of the culture they’ve helped build,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer of First Community Bank. “We strive to create an environment where team members feel valued, empowered, and supported—because when our employees thrive, our communities do too.”

To qualify, businesses must:

•              Operate in Arkansas;

•              Employ at least 15 Arkansas-based team members;

•              Be in business for at least one year;

•              Be a for-profit, not-for-profit, or government entity;

•              Be either publicly or privately held.

The selection process involves a two-part assessment: employers complete a detailed profile, while employees participate in a confidential survey evaluating workplace culture, leadership, benefits, and engagement. Final rankings are determined using the combined results.

The full list of winners will be featured in a special edition of Arkansas Business to be published on September 22, 2025.
