LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The U.S. Marshals Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force has launched a manhunt for two dangerous fugitives wanted on multiple charges out of Arkansas, authorities announced Friday.
Gary Waldon Powell Jr., 39, and Yusuf Muhammad, 44, are considered high-risk suspects, with law enforcement urging the public to report any sightings immediately.
Powell, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 215 pounds, has strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes. He faces charges from the U.S. Marshals and Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, including two counts of rape, second-degree sexual assault, fleeing, reckless driving, and contempt of court. Described as a sexually violent predator with a history of violence, Powell is deemed a significant threat.
Muhammad, also known by aliases Albert Marshall and Beasley Albert, is 5’8” tall, weighs around 170 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. Authorities warn that Muhammad is armed and dangerous and should not be approached under any circumstances.
