Sheriff: Crash leaves one person dead

INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, Ark. – A crash in Independence County leaves at least one person dead.

Sheriff Shawn Stephens said the crash involved two semi-trucks on State Highway 69 east of Magness.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation reported the crash at 5 a.m. on Oct. 22.

At 7:10 a.m., all lanes remain blocked.
