BATESVILLE, AR – Authorities and search teams are actively working to locate 95-year-old Belva Day, who has been missing since Thursday, February 6, 2025. Law enforcement officials have tracked her vehicle from Mountain Home to Batesville, but her current whereabouts remain unknown.
Tracking Her Movements
Surveillance footage has provided a timeline of Day’s journey, showing her vehicle—a 2004 Metallic Beige Buick LeSabre with Arkansas license plate USADOGN—moving across multiple counties.

- 1:58 PM – NAEC, Mountain Home, AR
- 2:22 PM – All Steel, Inc., Gepp, AR
- 3:10 PM – First National Bank of Izard, Calico Rock, AR (headed east toward Brockwell)
- 3:58 PM – Freedom Ford, Melbourne, AR
- 4:36 PM – The Real Deal Dumpster Rental, Batesville, AR
- 4:57 PM – Independence County Off Road, Southside, AR (Heading South on Hwy 167)
The last confirmed sighting of Day’s vehicle occurred in Southside at 4:57 p.m., heading south.
Concerns for Her Safety
Authorities are growing increasingly concerned as Day does not carry a cell phone, debit/credit cards, and her vehicle does not have OnStar. She is also believed to be traveling alone and has no known connections to the Batesville area, making her route unusual.

Law enforcement is asking local residents and businesses in Batesville and surrounding areas to review their security camera footage from 4:35 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, in hopes of tracking her movements further.
