Drasco Woman Arrested After Allegedly Shooting Boyfriend; Investigation Underway

DRASCO, Ark. — A Drasco woman is in custody following a shooting incident involving her boyfriend, according to the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office.

On Friday, Nov. 8, deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on Altom Road, where they discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies provided aid, and the injured man was subsequently flown to a hospital for further treatment.

An investigation into the shooting led to the arrest of Rebecca Mryglod of Drasco. While formal charges are still pending, Mryglod is currently being held at the Cleburne County jail on preliminary counts, including attempted first-degree homicide, first-degree domestic battery, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

The case remains under investigation as authorities work to gather further details.
