The Little Rock VA Regional Office will host its monthly Virtual VA Claims Clinic for Arkansas Veterans on Thursday, November 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. This online clinic offers Veterans a chance to speak one-on-one with VA staff who can address specific questions and assist with VA benefits claims. Veterans interested in reserving a time slot should call 501-370-3829 by close of business on November 20.
“In addition to Little Rock and the surrounding areas, it is our pledge to serve the diverse population in the rural areas of Arkansas,” said Public Affairs Officer Jay Mergenschroer. “We are working to connect with these Veterans along with those unable to reach us by other means.”
The Little Rock VA Regional Office provides support across Arkansas, including disability compensation, survivor’s benefits, pensions, education and training, vocational rehabilitation, life insurance, and home loan guaranties.
In addition to its main office at 2200 Fort Roots Drive, the Little Rock VA Regional Office operates satellite locations at:
- John L. McClellan VA Medical Center – Room 1C-151B, 4300 West Seventh St., Little Rock, open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Eugene J. Towbin VA Healthcare Center – Room 1C-149, Building 170, 2200 Fort Roots Dr., North Little Rock, open Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
The upcoming virtual clinic will also cover questions related to PACT Act benefits, current claims, and filing new claims. Veterans can also use the Visitor Reporting Engagement Application (VERA) to schedule in-person or virtual appointments with benefits counselors.
For additional assistance, Veterans can reach the Little Rock VA Regional Office’s Veteran Assist Phone Line at 501-370-3829, available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
