LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – According to a Facebook post from the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD), Emergency Communications was notified of a twin-engine plane crashing near the 3M Plant just after noon on Wednesday.

The post shared that LRPD, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD), and other state and federal law enforcement agencies were working on the case.

During a news conference at 2 p.m., a sheriff’s official confirmed there were no survivors.

LRFD Captain Jason Weaver said the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is at the head of the investigation and is planning on releasing a statement soon.

The Federal Aviation Administration says that the plane was a Beech BE20 that was bound for Columbus Internation Airport in Ohio when it went down shortly after takeoff around noon.
